Motive, the AI-powered Integrated Operations Platform, has officially announced the launch of new products and services that are designed to improve the safety and productivity in organizations across different sectors. As a part of this development, the company has launched the world’s first ever general-purpose computer vision platform for physical operations called AI Omnivision, which basically allows users to achieve greater visibility over their operations. The stated product, at launch, will serve companies from areas like waste services, construction, transportation and logistics, oil and gas, and more. Talk about what it will do for each area on an actionable level, we begin the waste services sector that can bank upon AI Omnivision to observe and detect overflowing trash bins and potentially hazardous material, therefore reducing risk for sanitation workers. On top of it, it can also come in handy to alert operators regarding any improper disposal practices. Next up, in the construction industry, Motive’s latest brainchild can prove its worth by enabling users to monitor and again alert managers in real-time for job site hazards, such as workers not wearing personal protective equipment. Moving on, companies working in transportation and logistics can leverage AI Omnivision to spot unauthorized movement of cargo and track unauthorized access or theft. Not just that, they can even use it inform the driver or manager in real-time if the cargo is improperly tied down.

Fair enough, beyond AI Omnivision, Motive took this opportunity to launch a new product in Motive Beacon, which has its utility rooted in locating small assets and equipment in warehouses, on job sites, and in transit. You see, up until now, physical operations leaders have struggled with tracking smaller pieces of equipment on outdoor job sites and inside warehouses, where traditional GPS tracking does not work with same accuracy. Such a struggle has resulted in losses worth billions of dollars. Fortunately, Motive Beacon takes on that challenge through a small but highly durable Bluetooth-based tracking device that allows customers to track anything from small tools and equipment on a worksite, to pallets in a warehouse. For indoor visibility, the solution establishes a connection with the Motive Beacon Gateway, which is markedly designed for asset positioning within a facility like a warehouse, manufacturing plant, or construction site. Hence, by connecting Motive Beacons to the Motive Beacon Gateway, the system creates a wireless technological net that ensures workers can use Motive Fleet App to reach precisely on the asset they need. As for the outdoor setting, the technology connects to the Motive Mesh Network. This network, in turn, leverages the company’s assortment of 2 million+ active Motive Vehicle Gateways, Asset Gateways, and Motive App users to locate relevant material.

Alongside Omnivision AI and Motive Beacon, Motive also introduced several enhancements for its Driver Safety Solution. These features include new AI models that can detect even more unsafe behaviors, such as drowsiness, lane swerving, forward collision warnings, sideswipe and blind spot monitoring, and unsafe parking etc.
